(Okay, so Callie knows that I don't let her have cookies in the morning, I usually give her a treat after lunch. But I just had to give her one after she pulled this cute little stunt!)

Hmmm...
Well, that shows you how dedicated I am to posting this week. I can't even think of a title;) I think I've lost all motivation to do anything that actually requires thinking. Maybe I have a case of pregnancy brain or whatever they call it.
I am feeling a little scatterbrained this week. You know where you put the gallon of milk in the cupboard instead of the fridge and the dishes in the refrigerator instead of the cupboard. (luckily I realize it as I'm doing it and not later).
When I was coming home from my Dr.'s appointment today, I actually drove past the exit for my town, causing me to have to drive to the next town 10 miles away and then have to drive back! Arghhhh! Oh well, at least I wasn't in a hurry.
On to other news. The doctor's appointment went great. The Dr. found a strong heartbeat right when he put the doppler on, he didn't even have to move it once. It was neat because Callie was with me, and I've been telling her that there is a baby in my stomach. She talks about it sometimes, but she also talks about the baby that is in her tummy ;) You should have seen her eyes light up when the doctor told her that sound was the baby. Callie went around to all the nurses afterwords saying "Baby goes... bop, bop, bop, bop!" (She was trying to imitate the sound of the babies heartbeat). It was so sweet! We were very happy to hear that the baby is doing well, and we are all excited to find out the sex in about six weeks!
Here are some pictures of the girls making crafts at home. I love being able to stay at home during this pregnancy. It makes life so much easier and I love having time to do extra activities with the girls.

Trip to Wyoming

This is a picture of Brad's new truck that we just bought. I love it, Mark is fixing it up for him. And he is going to fly out to pick it up next month.

Sorry this post is a little bit late. But I have just been getting all settled back in after my trip to Wyoming. I am so glad that I decided to go home. It was definitely something that I needed. Not that I needed a break from my own family, but mostly that I was just really homesick. I love living here in Arkansas, but there just comes a point where the distance between when I get to see my parents and brothers and sister just feels too long.
Some of my highlights from my trip home were:
- Getting to spend time with my mom while shopping, cleaning, and just visiting.
- Sitting in my parents' room and listening to church music with my Dad Sunday morning before church. (We have done this ever since I was little) And I know that whenever I look up at my dad sitting on the stand at church, that he will wink at me because he's happy that I'm home. I love it.
- Playing rock band with Don. Who knew I had such a talented voice? Ha ha, just kidding. And Don even took me out for dinner one night, it sure is nice being treated to dinner by your younger brother!
- Meeting all of McKays new little animals. I must say his bearded dragon is pretty sweet. I never thought I'd like a lizard, but he is pretty cool.
- Hanging out with Karren all day everyday. Me and Karren are so much alike. We think alike, look alike, and even like the same things to eat and to do. I wish that I lived closer to her, because we just love being together.
- Mark and Shayla and baby Jay came over every night that I was there. We played lots of cards and I loved getting to see Jay's sweet personality. My sister in law Shayla gave birth to their son Sam just one day after I flew home. I was so mad that I missed it!
- And last but not least, we got to have a birthday party for my brother Deloy and his wife Shannon. I loved rocking my nephew Decklan he is such a cuddler.

Baby post
I know that tons of my friends have already done this post. But I liked reading all of theirs, so hopefully your in for reading one more. I didn't include all the questions because it was rather lengthy.
Side note: The pregnancy #3 that I refer to is the baby that we lost, just in case it confuses anyone. We are expecting our 3rd child now (pregnancy #4).
1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
Kayla- hospital bathroom
Callie- target bathroom
Pregnancy #3- home
Pregnancy #4 (expecting)- home
2- Who was with you?
Kayla- My mom and me
Callie- Just me and Kayla in the next stall (she didn't know what I was doing ;)
Pregnancy #3- Brad and I
Pregnancy #4- Just me
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant?
Took a test with all of them. I'm very predictable and very fertile.
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
Kayla- ?!?!?!?!? Scared and shocked is an understatement
Callie- Super excited. I knew I was pregnant. I didn't need a test to confirm it.
Pregnancy #3- Very excited. I felt very impressed that it was time for another baby. And so I just knew I was going to get pregnant fast.
Pregnancy #4- Relieved, nervous, excited, hopeful, scared (yes, I really felt all of those things.)
5- Your Husbands reaction?
He was very happy about all of them. He knows I love babies and love being pregnant, even though I am Not a very good pregnant person. I think it does make my husband nervous when I'm pregnant though.
6- Who was the first person you told?
My mom or Brad, they are usually my first two people that I tell everything.
7- Did you want to find out the sex?
Yes of course! The way I look at it is that it is a surprise either way. You can either be surprised earlier or later, it's just that if you choose earlier, you'll also be more prepared!
8- What was the sex?
Kayla: girl
Callie: girl
Pregnancy #3: didn't ever find out
Pregnancy #4: I'll find out in about 5 or 6 weeks hopefully!
9-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?
Yes
10. How much weight did you gain?
Kayla: 30
Callie: 35
This pregnancy: so far about 5 I think
11- Did you loose all of the weight that you gained?
Yes to all
12- Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
Yes I have a lot, but the crazy thing is they truly do not bother me at all. I actually even think I might miss them if they were gone ;) I know there is probably about 10 of my friends that want to hit me right now. But it's the truth. I look at it like my battle scars, ha ha!
13- What did you crave the most?
Kayla- cottage cheese, pickles, and colby cheese.... Together... almost every day. (Wow, that sounds like a gross combination now that I look back at it.)
Callie- ice cream... but then again I crave that every day when I'm not pregnant ;)
This pregnancy- It changes every day. I cannot plan even for the next meal, because my craving will completely change by then. And with this one I seem to be more insistent on satisfying my craving. If it's not in my cupboards I will drive clear into town to get whatever I'm craving.
14- Who or what got on your nerves the most?
Not a lot gets on my nerves, unless my hormones are really out of wack, and then watch out! My husband will tell you. He can pretty much tell when I'm having one of those days, and he has learned to just steer clear of me. Luckily I'm only that way about 1 or twice a month when I'm pregnant. Although, I'm sure Brad will say it's more.
15- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
Kayla- horrible morning sickness which led to dehydration and hospitilazation ( I actually lost eight pounds by the time I was three months pregnant), then I was good until about 32 weeks when I got a kidney infection and went into premature labor, followed by 6 weeks of bed rest.
Callie- My placenta started to tear at 4 months and they said I would probably miscarry that night, I went on strict bed rest for two weeks and never lost her ;) Then I went into premature labor with her at 32 weeks, followed by 4 weeks of bed rest, and had her 4 weeks early.
Pregnancy #3- Turned out to be a partial molar pregnancy. This is when you develop tumors in your placenta with the fetus and the fetus has an abnormal amount of chromosomes. So the pregnancy had to be terminated. Not only would the fetus not survive outside the womb, but if I continued the pregnancy it could have become cancerous. Very sad and hard pregnancy for me. Followed by a year of having to wait to get pregnant again.
Pregnancy #4- So far so good! This pregnancy isn't anything like my other ones. I have felt wonderful. I keep thinking it's almost to good to be true. Hopefully, it stays this way!
(On a side note, now you know why my husband get's nervous when I'm pregnant).
15- Where were you when you went into labor?
I'm not going to include when I went into premature labor with both girls.
Kayla- I didn't know I was in labor, went to a doctors appointment and was dilated to a 6, had her in 3 1/2 hours. It was nice.
Callie- Had been off bedrest for a total of 1/2 a day. Felt the labor coming back, wasn't sure if I should go in, so we finally decided to just to be safe. And Callie was in my arms 40 minutes after we pulled up to the hospital. Yeah... that was a little to fast for me. The first time they checked me I was at a 9. Maybe next time I'll listen to my instincts a little better.
16- Did your water break?
Nope. But one time I thought my water broke and it didn't. Ha ha. That's embarrasing. (Hey, in my defense the doctor says it happens if the baby kicks your bladder)
17- Did you go early or late?
Early
18- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
Kayla- an epidural, but it only worked on half my body (the left side), so I felt the full pain on my right side, it was weird.
Callie- had some sort of block or meds they put in my spine, not sure what it was, but I started throwing up right after they gave it to me. I shouldn't have even got it because she actually started coming as they were giving it to me and they had to stop. It didn't even kick in until I was holding her.
Pregnancy #3- I had a spinal block and the anestesiologist messed up and I ended up leaking spinal fluid for 7 days before they were able to fix it. Just a warning: (that is THE worst pain I have ever been in my life, I would gladly endure three labors at once rather than go through that again.) Moral of the story, I will never be getting a spinal or epidural ever again. I don't care how bad it hurts. And if they make me get one for a c- section or something, well as I told my husband, be prepared for a major breakdown. Because those things scare the life out of me now.
19- I think I'm going to end here since this post is getting lengthy and I have probably scared any first time mom away from ever wanting to give birth.
So sorry for the dramatics, but that's just the way I am ;)

Callie's new tricks
Callie learned how to do a couple new things, and she said "Take my picture mommy!" I think she wanted everyone to see what she can do now.

Little princess
(Notice she is not looking at the camera, it because I had to stand in front of the t.v. to actually get a picture while she was holding still)
Baby bump watch
Well, everyone tells me that I need to take pictures of my baby bump along the way of this pregnancy. I wasn't very good at doing it with either of my other girls, so I am going to try to do better with this one. Here is my first picture of my 'bump'. Okay, it's still pretty small, but you could actually see one at church the other day.
This is me at 10 weeks.

I didn't show at all with Kayla until almost 4 months. And I showed a little with Callie by three. Looks like I'm ahead of the game with this one, since I am only about 2 1/2 months. Looks like what they say might be true about showing earlier with each baby that you have.

I have a p p p p p problem (pronounced as a stutter)
What is my problem? Her name is d d d d d Dora.
Now don't get me wrong. I am a lover of Dora.... well at least I used to be until I realized she was teaching my child to stutter! For any of you who know anything about Dora, you know that the theme song of her cartoon goes like this: "d d d d d Dora, D d d d d dora. Dora, Dora, Dora the explorer."
I don't know how many times I have sung this song, or how many Dora toys I have bought, and I have never stopped and noticed this... until my husband pointed it out to me.
What brings all this on? Well, let me back up. Earlier today I told Brad: "Honey, Callie has been doing something really weird lately. For the past couple of days, I have noticed that almost everything that she says she has been saying with a stutter." Then I said "Listen". She then came over to him and said "p p p p p play computer." He started laughing. And then she said " I I I I I like it."
I said "See! I just noticed the other day she has started doing it. It's like she's trying to create a stutter. And I can't figure out why."
He looks at me and says: "Well, I know why." It's that d d d d d Dora." Haven't you ever noticed that song?" This made me start laughing. Then he continued on to say "Listen to her do it, she says it just like that, with the same rhythm as the dora song."
And he was so right. I am convinced this is where she has been picking it up. I am going to put a stop to this right now. So from now on, I am NOT singing that song any more. I have been spending all day correcting Callie every time she tries to stutter. I don't want her to think that's how we talk! So just a warning to all you parents out there, if your child is developing a stutter, you might want to monitor the amount of Dora they are watching. ;)

Sooo.... excited!
I am really excited because I just bought a ticket to fly home next weekend. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision. I found such a good deal on the ticket I couldn't pass it up. I'm so thankful to my mother in law who is going to watch my girls while I go home to Wyoming. I have been so homesick, so hopefully this little trip will be just what I need. I know I won't be able to make any flights after month six of my pregnancy, so I will have to get all my traveling in within the next 3 1/2 months.

Just what you DON'T want to hear...
Well we were sitting quietly during sacrament meeting. Callie was reverently folding her arms with her head bowed during the prayer... I was so proud. She finally has learned the importance of being quiet during the prayer. Too bad she didn't know what was appropriate after the prayer. Right as the word "Amen" was said she happily announces "I farted!" And it wasn't quietly either. I'm pretty much sure the whole back of the chapel heard her. And what's worse is everyone looking at me like... who taught her to say that?
Come on now, it wasn't me!
Come on now, it wasn't me!
