FIshing Derby

This morning we had our town's fishing derby.  The girls were so excited to go. Hailey told me, "I've never caught a fish before!" I told her that she had last year, but she kept insisting she never had.  So boy was she excited when she was the first one to catch a fish, and then she caught another one right after that.  All three girls ended up catching their limit which was nine all together.  Then they were sweet to let another couple families have the fish.

This is the one she caught!

I love their faces:
Then somehow, my setting on my camera got knocked without me knowing so all the rest of the pictures were extremely over processed and strange colors.  I could save a few by changing them to black and white, but these are the rest:

Drive home from Wyoming

I'm kind of late in posting these, but I wanted to because it was such a gorgeous drive out of Wyoming.  The rest of the trip was a little sketchy, ridden with flash flooding, tornadoes warnings and finally a tornado in the town we slept in.  But other than that we made it home safe!  When we were going over these mountains we saw 18 deer, 4 moose and 1 buck.  Beautiful!

Sewing Camp

This year was Callie's first year that she got to go to sewing camp.  She was able to go with her cousin Kennedi.  They learned some new skills and Callie even got to bring home a sewing machine of her own.  She is so excited to start sewing more when we get moved into our new house.

Mountains-Five Springs (Last day in Wyoming)

So I told my family that I was probably going to be heading back a day earlier than I had planned.  Nobody wanted us to go, so Karren came up with the plan that they were having a big trip to the mountains on the day I was going to leave.  She knew I couldn't say no to that.  I'm so glad I didn't go, because it was one of the highlights of the trip.  The girls LOVED it and it was so fun seeing them hiking, exploring, and collecting treasures from the mountainside.

We are going to miss my family and beautiful Wyoming, but we will treasure the memories until next year!

Whale Pool

The kids love swimming at the whale pool at the park.  We were so happy it was open today, that was one of the things they wanted to do on this trip.  Harlee and I had fun blowing bubbles.

Our cute little Brynlee soaking up the rays:

Hailey loved sticking her head under the fountain.

After we came home I got to rock this little one to sleep.  I sure am going to miss all my nieces and nephews, but leaving new babies are the hardest.  I just wanted to take her home with me!
