I love this time of year. It's finally starting to cool off just a little and we have been fun getting the fall spirit of things. I realized I didn't have any fall decorations when we moved into this house, so I tried to do a few things around the house to make it feel a little more like Halloween. This is on my new buffet that Brad got me. I had really been wanting one and told me to just go and get one and it was so fun unpacking all my china and getting to display it finally!

This year I have been having fun painting pumpkins instead of just carving them, I love doing anything artsy.
A couple weeks ago Kayla went to homecoming with her friend ;) Jace and her best friend Maddie and his best friend John Luke. They had a lot of fun, and it's kinda crazy, but I don't think any of them knew what to do when they actually had to interact and dance. Communication is a lost art, I tell ya ;) She looked absolutely stunning though and I wish I could have been there to take pictures, but I had just had my surgery the day before, so I couldn't be there.

I was able to go bow hunting with Brad last week. I was so excited to get in the stand again, but unfortunately I didn't see anything until after it was to dark. Maybe next time!

This last picture was from when our new neighbor Leslie told us that she might have a few barbies in an old box that my girls might like. Turns out there were around 40 brand new collector barbies. That she just GAVE us. What a generous gift! She said that she just really regretted that she never let her daughter open them, and now she doesn't want them. She just really wanted our girls to have them if they would love them and play with them. Well we could certainly honor her wish, and we opened them all and the girls have loved it!
