I am so thankful I had the opportunity to take our youth group to Nauvoo for Youth Conference. It was special on so many different levels. Not only to spend some one on one time with Kayla, but also because I received such a special witness of the prophet Joseph Smith when I was at Carthage Jail and the Spirit I felt during the whole week of being there was almost more than I could take in. I learned so much and I'm just so thankful we were able to go. It was truly a life changing experience for our youth and for myself.
At church we had almost a thousand people in attendance for a regular sacrament meeting. I have never seen that many people receive the sacrament in one setting, and it was really awesome to see how reverent it was.
The food was incredible!
