Snow Day 2016

The girls have been wishing and praying and hoping that it would snow sometime this winter, and we finally got our wish.  And it was a good snow too!  Nice and fluffy and beautiful.  We are having a great time playing in it this morning.

Christmas Break

 We had a fun filled Christmas break! It was so nice spending some quality time with my family and getting to do some things.  Brad and I also celebrated our 10th anniversary! We didn't do anything to major since we had gotten a new house and car this year, so I think that was plenty :) Anyway, I sure love him, we have had  an amazing life together and I fall more and more in love with him everyday.  I'm so thankful that we found each other.

 The girls have been begging their daddy to take them hunting, so the other morning we all bundled up and went out for breakfast together.  Then we took the kids on a walk through the woods, looked for tracks, taught Callie how to climb a tree stand (just a few feet off the ground) and then did some target shooting at acorns.  We had a great time.

Kayla and I were able to have a mommy/daughter date last week too.  It was pretty funny when the waitress thought we were friends and asked if we wanted to split the check :) Kayla didn't like that!

The girls have had fun spending their Christmas money, one of the things Brynlee spent hers on was Shopkins.  These are the latest and coolest little girl collectibles that are out right now.

We also went out together as a whole family to Texas Roadhouse.  Ten years ago Brad proposed to me right after we ate at Texas Roadhouse, it was pretty cool to eat there again 10 years later with our whole family, how time can change things!

Callie got a science kit for Christmas and all the girls have loved doing some of the science experiments.

   We also just had our beginning year meeting for the Stake Primary presidency, I am ready for another fun filled year with these great ladies!
