Kayla really was wanting me to take some fun fashionable outdoor photos of her, and this is what we came up with.  She sure is beautiful!

Clinton Library, State Legislature and Turkey Hunt

A couple weeks ago I took the girls to the Clinton library for a fun activity.  They got to dance to "Go Noodle", listen to a professional storyteller/singer, got tons of free hardcover books and good food.  They can't wait to go back.  

Earlier that day I took them to Lowes "Build and Grow Clinic".  The girls each built their own planter box and picked out and planted their own spring flowers, they are still growing and the girls are proud of that!

This morning Callie was selected to head to the State Capitol to sing for the State Legislatures.  She was so excited that she was chosen.  I told her that people notice when you are a good student and try hard. 

Last week Brad and all the Shelton men headed to Kansas for their annual turkey hunt.  Brad tagged out at 6:45 a.m. the morning of the first day!  So lucky for me he came home a little early.

Easter Egg hunts

The girls were lucky to be able to go to two Easter egg hunts on Saturday.  We went to my friend Jeribeth's easter egg hunt at her church and they kids had fun looking for eggs and listening to a story about the Resurrection.

Later that afternoon we met up with the some of the rest of the Shelton cousins and went on an easter egg hunt at Aunt Mary and uncle Kenneths house.

Easter Dress pictures

I wanted to get pics of the girls in their Easter dresses, they looked so cute.  I sure am thankful for this time of year.  I love Easter and for the time that we are able to reflect on the Savior, on his amazing gift to us and of His resurrection. Because of his sacrifice I can be with my family forever. 

School happenings

Last week we had "Muffins for moms" at the school.  The girls love it when Brad or I get to come eat with them.  We are lucky we all just got off in enough time to enjoy it together.  We even ran into cousins Misti and Reagan when we were there.

These are a couple pictures from the Branson trip that I forgot to include.  The girls sure love swimming and are getting more confident.  I think Hailey will do swimming lessons this year.

These last couple are from Hailey's schools pre-k easter egg hunt.  So glad I got to be a part of it.  She sure is going to miss her class when she graduates onto kindergarten next year.
