Home Projects

I finally started my hall gallery wall and have hung a few more pictures now that the paint is done.  Seems like it took forever, but the house is slowly getting filled inch by inch.

I am SOOOOO happy that it's fall.  I love this time of year, the weather the yummy food, the warm clothing I get to wear, all of it.  One of my favorite things is painting pumpkins that I get from the pumpkin patch. We did a lot more than these, but these are just a few :)

County Fair

The girls love entering their artwork and photography into the county fair every year.  They get really excited to take pictures because it is the ONLY time all year that I let them hold my nice camera and take pictures with it.  They are such quick little learners and had no problem focusing and holding very still.  And best yet, they even are able to earn a little money for the ribbons that they win.

County Fair Parade

This year Callie was asked to be on the float for the library.  She got to wear a cute Pikachu costume.

And these two got to sit with me and be my buddies!

Student of the month

I was so proud to get a phone call last week from Brynlee and her school telling me that the whole school had voted her for student of the month.  Our little kindergartener! One of her older sisters might have had a brief moment of jealousy but decided to be very happy for her instead.  We sure love all our girls and are proud of their hard work in school.  She was honored by the school board that Monday night and put in the paper.

Lonoke Volleyball Tournament

Kayla's volleyball team has been doing awesome this year.  They have not lost yet, and we are super excited to see how the rest of the season goes.  We had the first Lonoke tournament here last week and they won the whole thing, super proud of these girls!

Stake Activity Days

Serving as the Stake Primary President right now, I got to help plan the Stake Activities for the year, and I just love working with our presidency.  I don't know how we can all come from different areas and backgrounds, without all knowing each other and just come together and be such great friends and work so perfectly together.  I just love our Presidency, This year our Stake activity day, was for mother and daughters again. The theme was "Be-You-tiful."  The girls made neklaces that they could take home with a word in it that their mother chose for them.  And they also made a wooden board that said the theme word.  We also were treated to some inspiring messages and yummy food!

Disney World

Because we didn't have a ton of days when we were in Florida, we told the girls they could pick one Kingdom, and of course they chose Magic Kingdom!  We had a ton of fun, they day was relaxing, good weather and we just really enjoyed making memories.

All aboard!

What a great dad to visit 6  different Disney Princesses!  Although he said that was his favorite part, seeing how happy it made the girls.

Rapunzels tower!

Cooling off

How many girls have been able to play ring around the rosies with Rapunzel?

Kayla was so afraid in the haunted mansion!

Jungle Cruise

Dancing for the Mickey Mouse Celebration in the courtyard.

And we ended the day with a parade!
