Family Reunion Pics

Here are the pictures from the Ray family reunion. I only remembered to bring my camera on the second day, so I didn't get as many as I would have liked.

Here is the group we ate with. Cousin Leah is on the left (she just found out she's having a boy), my bro in law Cory is next to her, then my sister in law Jillian (she is also pregnant and just found out they are having a girl) and my other bro in law Craig, Brad, Callie, and then Grandpa Billy in the front.

This next picture is of Kayla and her cousin Savanna. This was her first time meeting Savanna, and they hit it off right away. They were both interested in the same things they love to sing and dance. They both danced in the talent show.

Uncle Cory kept Callie well entertained with the pool floaties. Callie loved hitting everybody with them.

I thought this was a cute picture of my in laws, so I had to include it. They just celebrated their 29 wedding anniversary this week.

This is Brad's Grandma Ray and her boyfriend Hal singing to karaoke. Brad's Grandma loves to karaoke and goes out in her free time and dances and sings. I love her spunk!

This is part of Kayla's dance routine that she made up. She did a lyrical dance, and she looked so beautiful.

Another picture of Savanna and Kayla. Aren't they beautiful girls?
And last but not least everyone played a little waterballoon volleyballl. It was a lot of fun ( I sat that one out).

34 week bump

Definately got a big baby bump now. I probably will be posting one more of these pics and then she'll be here, Yay!

It's getting hot down here...

Okay, WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!?! I'm going to be NINE months pregnant in JULY in ARKANSAS! I went grocery shopping today and it was like 100 degrees, but when you add the humidity on top of that... Wow, let's just say it's something to experience. I definately think I will be timing out the arrival of our next baby if we decide to have one.

Getting excited...

It's a good thing that I'm about to have a baby, because I'm seriously getting BABY HUNGRY! We got out Callies old clothes and washed and folded them, washed the car seat cover, and got out the bassinet. The girls and I were "Oohhing and Awwwing" over every little outfit that we held up.
At least it won't be too much longer though. Sorry I haven't posted my 34 week belly picture yet, but I tripped over our laptop cord and ripped the cord, so now we are waiting for a new one. So you won't be getting any pictures until probably later this week. Anyway, we had a fun reunion last week for my mother in law Debbie's side of the family, so I will post those pictures later too.
I just wanted to share a little video that I found of Callie that made me even more excited for Haylie to come. Sometimes I forget how dang cute my little babies were. Enjoy!

accident

My brother Mark was in an accident last night when he hit a deer with his Vmax. He broke his collar bone in 3 chunks and is kinda beat up. He got a cat scan, to check for internal bleeding. Shayla said he is doing better now and that there was no internal bleeding. Please keep him in your prayers. Mark doesn’t even remember the deer or hitting it. He just woke up to people all around him. There was somebody that saw the whole thing and said the deer ran right in front of him and he hit it square on killing the deer. It just makes me sick to think about a family member getting hurt. And it's so hard being so far away feeling like I can't be there to help. We all feel so lucky and blessed that he is okay.

Fishing Derby

The fishing derby ended up being a lot of fun. I couldn't believe how many people showed up. There was hardly anywhere to fish. Kayla and Callie caught 6 fish (which was their limit) so they did great! Callie didn't last as long as Kayla though because it was too hot for her. She didn't like sitting out in the sun, she kept saying "I want to go home and have a popsicle." So that is just what we did after we were finished. When we were leaving Kayla was kind of sad because she didn't get a prize. The warden told her that she either had to have the biggest fish or caught a fish that had a tag on it. We looked ours over and didn't see one like that so we just took our fish and left. After Grandpa started gutting the fish at home he called to tell us that one fo the fish did have a tag. And being the sweet grandpa that he is he drove all the way back to our house to pick up Kayla and take her to get her prize. Thanks Grandpa!
Kayla won a pink t-shirt, a dvd, and a sports bottle.
Kayla instisted that she won the t-shirt for me, but let's just say I don't fit in a small as good as I used to ;) I think she looks pretty cute in it.

Summer so far...

Well our summer has been going pretty good so far. I can't complain. It's definitely not as hot as I thought it would be by now. I do realize that their is still plenty more time for that though ;) We have been spending a lot of our time at home so far. The girls have been very patient about this. And for the most part they've been staying fairly busy and having fun. I had planned on doing a lot more fun activities and outings, but it seems that every time I try to go out any longer than a trip to the grocery store, I start contracting pretty heavily. So in my effort to remain OFF bedrest and medication, I'm trying to be a good girl and take it easy for a few more weeks so my doctor doesn't put me on restrictions. Callie also got a skin rash last week which she had to be on medication for, so she has had to stay out of the sun anyways for her antibiotic. So some of the things we have been doing are: lots of crafts at home, swimming in their kiddie pool, going to story time at the library, going to a magic show, and also seeing part of the Arkansas Symphony. The girls even got to play on a children's violin. They both loved it. I wish I would have brought my camera.
Tommorow Grandpa Shelton is picking the girls up for breakfast at Mcdonalds and then we are all going to a fishing derby here in our town. Both Kayla and Callie plan on fishing and they can each catch 3 fish, so we plan on coming home with a few! Brad and Grandpa will be helping the girls while I do most of the watching ;) I'll have to post more pictures after the big day.

My morning surprise....

So yesterday I had a doctors appointment. Everything still looked pretty good, but the doctor did say that I was about 60% effaced but luckily still not dilating. So I was at least happy to hear that I haven't dilated any yet. They did another premature labor test, and I'll find out probably today how that went and then I'll know a little more. Grandma Shelton had been watching the girls while I was gone yesterday, and I told her how the appointment went when I picked the girls up. Well, the girls must have been listening more than I thought because when I woke up this morning, both my girls were coming into my room with a breakfast tray! I didn't even hear that they were awake. They made me a card that said: "Get feeling better mom, we love you." The tray also had a bowl of honey bunches of oats, glass of orange juice, and "heartshaped toast" with jelly. So sweet! I told them how sweet they were and said "Thank you!" Callie smiles and says in the sweetest voice: "Your welcome... Can I eat it?"
Ha ha.... now that is true love, making a breakfast tray for your mom and not eating any of it until she sees it ;)

(Oh, and FYI... I'm not on bed rest or anything, I just hadn't got out of bed for the day! Ha ha.)
