Summer Camps

 In addition to all the craziness of getting moved in we have been busy busy with 2 a day volley ball practices and summer camps for the girls.  Here is a picture of Kayla with her team at Harding camp.

 This morning we had Callie's swim meet for the second year in a row.  Hailey didn't get to do it this year because I was gone to NY when they started it.  But hopefully next year!  Misti and I helped coordinate all the kids like last year and made sure they were lined up when it was time to go.

New House

Well we are finally all moved into our new house.  It ended up being a month long ordeal, in between coming back from Wyoming and heading to New York kind of in the middle of it all.  But we finally got things all unpacked and the painters just finished painting where there used to be wallpaper.  We are loving it!  We like the house even more than we had imagined, it just feels like home.

The 4th of July

I actually didn't get to spend the 4th of July with the kids this year, since that was the day that I flew out to New York.  But the night before, the girls twisted my arm into getting some fireworks.  So we had fun lighting some kid ones and watching the neighbors.

These pictures are from several weeks ago when we first moved in.  We have been loving the beautiful landscaping and yard that the previous owners had.  The girls wanted to whip out their pool right when we moved in!  Good thing we did, because it's been to hot to go outside lately!  

This first picture is of Callie heading to her cooking camp.  She also went to sewing camp with her cousin Kennedi and loved every minute of it.

New York, New York!

Okay so these are not necessarily in order, but I'm to tired to change it.  I had the opportunity to go with my mom to New York this past week.  My uncle Don invited us to come be Chaperones for his program called "Open Jar", which is a broadway integration, acting, singing and dancing institute for high school and college students.  I had the best time!  Really the experience was awesome, and it wasn't even just New York, but really the whole program that we did and the friends that I made.  I grew so close to the eight girls I was asked to chaperone, and will truly miss them!

When I first saw these girls, I thought whoever gets them is going to have trouble! Lucky me I got all four, and even more lucky, I was wrong.  I loved these girls and truly enjoyed their friendship!Getting ready for Finding Neverland to start:

After the cruiseline, we went to get mani/pedi's and massages.  It was so relaxing!

We got to celebrate a birthday for one of my girls.  We didn't know her mom had bought trick candles and we almost set the smoke alarms off.  LOL, I don't think the waiters were very happy with us!

On one of the days, my mom and I were able to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, right after we treated ourselves to some make-up at MAC cosmetics.  The museum had a special exhibit on Chinese Fashion, it was my favorite!

One evening we had a photo scavenger hunt around New York and ended up in a penthouse suite for a party that overlooked all sides of New York.  It was amazing!  It was located three floors above Beyonce's penthouse and rents for $24,000/ night.  We were so blessed to be able to spend the evening their.  The girls were beyond excited.
