My baby shower

Today I was thrown a baby shower by Brad's Grandma Ray and by my mother in law Debbie.  It was in Jacksonville at Grandma Ray's house.  They made everything look so nice and had everything just perfect.  I am so greatful for such sweet ladies who take such good care of our family.

The table was so pretty with flowers, goodie bags and a beautiful cake.

Didn't the cake turn out so cute?

So many people came, I was really surprised.  Everyone that I know around here lives so far apart, I wasn't sure how many would be able to make it.  Several of my friends from church even came.  This is Emily Thompson and her mom Janae, and another good friend from church, Donnene Hancock.  Betty Harvey also made the long drive out.

We also had a lot of Brad's side of the family there.  I didn't get pictures of a lot of  them.  But here is Brad's aunt Sharon with one of my neigbhors and good friend, Amber.

Debbie, tried to get a picture of a lot of the gifts.  But it was hard, because I was so spoiled with so many!

When I got home the girls loved going through everything.  Every time I opened a binky or a snack cup, the girls were trying to use them.  Hailey loved trying everything out to make sure Brynlee would like it ;)

This is the new high chair that Brad's aunt Evelyn got us (among other things).  I was so greatful, I absolutely love it!  It's crazy to think that we are going to have two in high chairs and two in diapers!

Speaking of diapers, I shouldn't have to buy any for the first little while, because people were so generous with them!

And last but not least here is a picture of all the rest of the gifts.  I couldn't believe how much it really was once we layed it all out.  Thank you so much to everyone who was so generous and kind to us.  It was all greatly needed and appreciated!  I hadn't had a baby shower in 10 years, and as you can imagine with this being our fourth girl a lot of the things we had were completely shot.

We all sure are growing...

Callie wanted to look at my old blog book and she saw a picture of her and Kayla having a tea party when we first moved into our house:

Then she said: "Please, please can we have a tea party like that again!" So here is how our tea party looks now over two years later. It's hard to believe Callie has grown that much in just a couple years.  And it's amazing how much Hailey looks like she did when she was a toddler.

While we were busy having a tea party, Kayla was busy playing with her friend Brook.

This last picture is for my mom. I am 34 weeks now, and my mom called to ask me if I was getting huge yet. Well here is the big ole belly;) It is huge, but thankfully I don't feel as huge as I probably look.  My back has really been hurting though, but mostly because I fell and pulled a muscle.  I am such a clutz when I'm pregnant! This baby will probably be glad to get out of me just so she feels safer, ha ha ;)

Last night

Last night for church we had an activity for the Relief Society, young women, and activity days girls.  We had the young women do kind of an introduction to the Personal progress program so that any Relief Society sisters that wanted to could participate in it.  We had a great turnout.  We got a picture of the women together since Sister Evans (missionary) will be leaving this week.  We will sure miss her and her husband.

Nothing much

I don't really have anything exciting to post about this week.  We didn't get out a whole lot last week because it was so cold.  We watched a lot of movies, played a lot of games and put good use to our new Wii.

I am still feeling good. The doctor says the baby sounds great and is growing right on track.  I had a bout of contractions last weekend that worried me a little, but I have taken it really easy this week and they have all settled down now.  Four more weeks and I'll be in the more safe zone at "37 weeks" and won't have to worry.  I think this one will be fine though and mostly come on time, it seems to be a lot easier pregnancy like Hailey's was.  I'm starting to get really excited about meeting our new little girl, I can't believe we will have her in just 6 weeks.

I was thinking today about my other labor experiences and although it terrifies me to think of the pain, I look forward to the excitement and anticipation of that time too.  I love going through the experience with Brad.  He is an awesome person to have in the delivery room.  He's just so relaxed and supportive.  He's not annoying and doesn't say or do things that get on my nerves (which is very important when you are in labor)  ha ha...
I love how he always watches the contraction sheet and gets so excited out how "high" each contraction gets.  He'll be like: "Oh this is going to be a big one!"  It's pretty funny because he says it like it's going to be news to me or something.  I'm thinking "yeah, I can FEEL it's going to be a big one honey."  Anyway, just random thoughts, but I'm getting excited and have finally got everything ready, so now it's just a waiting game.

Snow Day

I had to post about our snow day today, since we NEVER get snow in Arkansas.  The girls were so excited when they started seeing snowflakes fall last night.  And they were even more excited when they heard they had no school today.  Even Brad got to stay home from work because they shut the plant down  But just because the roads are to bad to go to work, doesn't mean they are to bad to go hunting!  Ha ha... so I bet you can guess where the Shelton men went today.

The girls were begging all morning to go outside and finally I bundled them up and out we went.  The girls were having lots of fun playing in the snow, and it wasn't long before we were joined by our neighbors. Matt, Jeribeth and little Chandler brought out their 4 wheeler and sled and made it even for fun!

Pretty soon all the neighbors were coming out!  Even Brandon took a turn on the sled:

Baby bump pic

Here is my 31 week baby bump picture.  So far, I'm doing good and still feeling good.  I'm starting to get a little more tired during the day, but I'll take that, compared to how I've felt at this point with my other pregnancies.  We are getting excited for her arrival only 1-2 more of these pictures and she will be here!
My doctor said she his already head down, so hopefully she stays that way.
