Christmas morning

We had a great Christmas morning, the girls loved everything they got. Since they are all close in age and all girls, they loved their sisters toys as much as their own.  We have been having lots of fun sharing and trying out each others things.

Kayla got all new decorations to redo her bedroom.

Brynlee knew she was getting a puppy, because she heard the present "barking" a few weeks ago.

Hailey finally got her Hello Kitty airplane she had been dreaming about!

Callie got a lot of accessories for her new dolls.

That's a whole lot of pink to see on Christmas morning!

My Birthday and Christmas break

I turned 31 on Monday and I spent the whole day with Brad, it was really nice. He took me to the mall and then out to a nice Italian restaurant called "Bravo". I even liked it better than Olived Garden! Then we went over and saw the movie "Catching Fire". He followed it all up by taking me to Cold Stone. Pretty much my perfect day in a nutshell :)
This is the inside of the restaurant:

The girls have loved playing with their new toys, Callie and Brynlee have been having so much fun dressing up like her new dolls.

The girls were so happy that their dad put up their new trampoline for them.  We will see how long it lasts, but even if it lasts half a year, it will be worth it to me!

Christmas Eve: Gingerbread house

Tonight we had our family tradition of making a gingerbread house on Christmas eve, and once again... we FAILED. I swear, this is the one thing in life that has been sent to torment me. If I ever can get one to stay standing longer than 5 minutes it will be a miracle. This one even came pre glued together, I was sure we couldn't fail this year. And wouldn't you know right before we started Callie shook the box and it broke apart. Oh well, we tried our best and still had fun. (Kayla wasn't with us because she went to watch "Frozen" at the movie theater.)

We all know that the best part is eating it anyway :)

Then we cuddled up and watched "The Grinch" and drank hot cocoa.

We finished off the night by reading the real Christmas story out of the bible.

The girls are all tucked in bed and will be so surprised to see what santa left them in the morning!

Christmas Eve at Grandpa's and Grandma's

For Christmas eve, we had a delicious lunch at my in laws house before we opened presents.  They made ribs, baked beans, and hash brown casserole, it was so yummy!

I told them they'd get a present if they posed for me :)

After we ate, we had all the little girls go in the back while we set out all the presents.  They were so excited when they came back in.

Brynlee's reaction when she got this gift was priceless, my favorite for sure.

And Kayla got a T.V. from Grandpa and Grandma, lucky!  It was kind of funny because Kayla stood in line for this t.v. on black friday, thinking that Grandma was buying it for her new house. She really stood in line for her own gift, lol.

Thanks grandpa and grandma, we got spoiled!

Ray family Christmas Party

Tonight we had the Ray family Christmas party (Debbie's side of the family). And boy has the family grown in just the few short years since I moved here. We stopped by Craig and Jillians before going to the party to get some pictures of the cousins.  But that was a big FAIL.  Not so easy photographing 6 little girls. Oh well, I still got a cute one of Brynlee.

One of Kayla being malled :)

And a family picture of Craig and Jillians family.

At Grandpa and Grandmas house the girls had a lot of fun playing with their extended cousins.

I guess Cory didn't want to pose alone, so he thought he'd pose with a plate of cookies, ha ha...

Me and my handsome little nephew.

It was great seeing everyone!

Callie's Christmas Concert

Callie was so excited about her Christmas music program. She told me that she thought/maybe she had a special part, but she didn't know for sure.

Sure enough she did, she was a "shaker" just like she described it to me.

We were on the very top row of bleachers, but even through my camera lens I could see she still kept looking right at us, making sure me and aunt Jillian were watching her :)
