Tiff's baby shower and Hailey's preschool

On Saturday we hosted a baby shower for my neighbor and good friend Tiffany. She is having her first baby and it's a boy. We hosted the shower at my friend Crystal's house.  It was so great getting together with these ladies and to eat such a yummy brunch.

Brianne, Jeribeth and Crystal:

My friend Beth made this awesome cake in a jar and Tiffany organized the whole shower!

The guest of honor with her momma!  I wish my skin glowed like that when I was pregnant.

Amber's so cute!

Her baby is pretty cute too :)

All the hostesses:

Thanks ladies for the great time!

This morning Miss Callie got to dress up for Princess day at school.  They will be dressing up all week for homecoming. She sure was excited.

And Miss Hailey started preschool a couple weeks ago and she is loving it! Her teacher is Miss Penny from church, so she was happy to have someone she knows.  She loves the music, arts and crafts, story time and playing with friends.  She is learning structure and learning to be obedient to the rules.  Here are these two cuties outside of preschool (Grandma got them matching shirts from the disney store):

County Fair

Tonight after we went to the parade we headed over to the county fair. The girls LOVE to go to the fair. They made me drive by twice, once this morning and once last night, just because they were so excited. Brad had been gone to California the past few days, so right when he got home the girls were pulling on him ready to go.

Brynlee loved the bunnies, and would say "aawww!" to each one.

I think this goat wanted to take a nibble out of the girls.

I couldn't believe Brynlee went on this ride with her sisters, I thought for sure she would be afraid, But she was a big girl!

Brynlee wanted to go in the fun house, but I had to go with her so she wouldn't get lost.  To bad I didn't realize the only way down was a slide.

Ha ha... look at Brynlee's face!  It was so fast.

Stealing a kiss. He wants one, even though he's acting tough :)

And this little crazy girl was doing some sort of gypsy dance while we were eating, who knows what this move is?
We had a blast, I'm sure we'll be back next year!

County Fair Parade

Today we went to the county fair parade. It was HOT! But of course the girls didn't mind, they were just so excited to catch some candy and to part of all the excitement. Kayla was thankful she at least found one of her friends (that wasn't a cheerleader) to sit with.  All her other friends were on the float this year.
Every time Kayla would step in front of Brynlee to take a picture, Brynlee would get mad because Kayla was blocking her view.  We were laughing pretty hard.

Callie is going to miss her best friend and cousin sooooo much!

Volleyball

We have been in full swing of the Volleyball season here at the Shelton house.  Kayla has been having a couple games a week, and we are loving going to the home games and seeing her play in the beautiful new gym that was finished this year. Kayla has a great serve and is doing awesome in the front as a spiker/blocker.  I can't wait till she even becomes more aggressive in the sport as she gets older, I think it's going to be great for her.  Papa, Grandma, Craig and Jillian and their family were all able to come see her play, all the Sheltons almost took up an entire row of seats!

She is number 18 to the left of the coach:

They have been on a winning streak so far, we are excited to see what the rest of this year holds.

Kayla with her best friend Lindsey, no telling what they are joking around about!

Also this past week we had a pampered chef party at my mother in law Debbie's house. We ended up having a lot of people come and order from the party, it was a big success!  The food was awesome too, thanks to everyone who came.

Callie's birthday

Callie was really worried that no one would know it was her birthday since she had to spend the day at school. We found out before she went that they no longer allowed any treats on birthdays. Callie started crying and said "I want to go back to kindergarten!" I thought that was cute. So in order to make her feel extra special we decided to send some balloons to her school for her special day, she was very happy to get them! For Callie's birthday party we decided to have kind of a low key family party. It was nice to just have it relaxing and not to plan a theme and everything. The kids had fun playing together and Callie was very thankful for all her birthday surprises!

Labor Day: Children's Museum

Since we didn't have any school on Labor Day and Callie did have to go to school the next day on her birthday, we decided to go out and do something fun together. We went to the Discovery Museum in Little Rock. We've been to several museums in different towns, but this was our first time coming here and the girls had a lot of fun!
The sand art table was fun, even I loved it.

Hailey loved dancing in the shadow wall.
