The sun is coming out

Doesn't it feel so good to have some sun shine after winter?  I love spring and flowers and everything outdoors! We spent some time playing outside this week and also at the park.  The girls have been itching to ride their bikes.

Kayla's friend Jace came over and invited her to his Prom, which is in April.  Lucky for her she turns 16 in a couple weeks and gets to go!  He was so sweet because he knew she wanted a real Husky, but I won't get one, so he got her this cute toy husky with his sign.

Callie has been working hard in her tumbling class.  She has her splits down and several other cool tricks.  She is currently working on her tuck.

February Happenings

For Callie's gifted and talented program she made a presentation on the 1920's decade and made a diarama and also was able to dress up like she was from that era.  We had a lot of fun working on her project, I was so proud of her, she is very artistic and has great ideas! Her exhibit was definitely popular with the little girls.

Hailey was able to go to the Daddy daughter dance with her dad at her school recently. She looked like a beautiful princess and loved the one on one attention!

The girls had a great Valentines day and were spoiled with all the treats and love they got from everyone!

Brynlee's birthday

Sweet little Brynlee turned 5 years old this week!  It's crazy how time flies.  I can't believe our baby is so big.  She sure brings a lot of light and happiness into our lives.  I don't know what I'd do without my best buddy around all the time.

For Brynlee's birthday this year she wanted a Shopkins party.  She has started collecting them and loves learning all their names.

This is Brynlee with her cousin Alexis.

We had a lot of friends and family show up, we had pizza and the girls had fun playing.
Our old neighbors Matt and Jeribeth came to, it was nice to have them over at our new place.

The girls dancing at the party.

Callie had the great idea to set up a "Shopkins Supermarket" where the kids could purchase the items they would put in their goody bags, it turned out really cute.

Valentines Treats and Lazy Saturday

It's that time of year again, making Valentines treats! This year Callie found some cute ideas on pinterest that she liked and decided to make her own minions.  They turned out like cute little fat minions!

She even got to decorate her own Valentine box this year.  And Hailey had fun writing all the names on her Valentines.

Saturday morning I let the girls make a huge tent to watch cartoons in.  We had a great day doing yard work, pruning and preparing for the spring.
The girls did a little of their own pruning while I was busy and cleared out the inside of our bush/tree by our mailbox.  It was all good until they made an entrance and exit hole, now it looks like a big tunnel in the middle of the bush.  Sorry in advance to our neighbor! This is their "Barbie Spy club."  Oh to be a kid again!

Big Buck Classic and Memphis Volleyball Tournament

These first pictures are just random things that we have been up to this month.  Brynlee loves to have one on one time with mama while her sisters are at school.  We do extra fun stuff like getting out the Barbie pool!

This week was Hailey's 100 day of school so she got to dress up like a 100 year old lady.
A couple weeks ago we were able to go to Memphis to the temple for a youth trip, I got to do initiatories by myself and it was really nice.
This is a picture of Brynlee and I at the Little Rock childrens museum pretending like we are pirates.
Some times we get back in bed after we take the girls to school, shhh... don't tell anyone :)
We took the little girls to Big Buck Classic last week and they saw some bucks, cool fish and got to rock climb!

This past weekend we stayed the night in Memphis at the Sheraton.  We had some yummy breakfast at the Blue plate cafe, got to go to the mall and also to the new Bass Pro shop in the pyramid.
This is the view from the conference center, it was beautiful.
