Christmas

I was hoping the girls would sleep in a little Christmas morning, and they did, but wouldn't you know it I was wide awake at about 4:30 in the morning.  I started thinking about how excited the girls were going to be and then I couldn't sleep after that!  I made myself lay in bed till they woke up though.  They finally got up about a quarter to seven.
Here is the room after Santa made his visit.
The girls ran straight to the tent their nanna and papa sent them, they love it!

Brynlee was so happy, she was dancing around and loving everything she saw!

Bradley did good this year, he ordered me some stuff online and it all fit me great and was perfect!

Hailey has been wanting a dream light for about 6 months now, so she was really happy to get one!

Our most exciting present was the one we got Kayla.  We got her an iphone 4.  We had originally told her she couldn't have one until she was sixteen.  But with her doing sports now and starting to babysit, we thought she might be old enough for one.  The look I caught of her face when she was opening it is priceless!

She said "Take another picture of me now, I'm sure my mouth was dropping open in the other ones!"

After we opened all our presents we got cleaned up and then headed over to Papa and Grandma's trailer house lovingly refereed to as "the double wide".  It was interesting fitting our big family in there, but we did it and Grandma had an awesome feast prepared for us.  And boy did we ever get spoiled!

This is Ross with his new wife Chrissy.  She is such a sweet girl, I'm so happy to have another sister in law!

Brynlee has this new ballerina trick that she does, it's pretty funny, she had us all laughing.

Christmas Eve

The girls were excited all day for our "Christmas Eve Party" we were having at night.  We hadn't gotten to make our traditional gingerbread house yet, so we decided tonight was the perfect time.  We never have much luck with our houses, but that's okay we keep building them anyway.

Brynlee was loving all the candy and eating it before we could get it on the house.

Our house actually stayed standing this year, yay!

After that it was time to make cookies for Santa Clause. I had me a lot of helpers, and they made the cookies from start to finish.

Love her face!

While the cookies were baking we jammed out to some Justin Bieber Christmas music!

The girls patiently waiting for them too bake:

After they were out of the oven, we had time for quick baths and then we settled in for our goodies of cookies and hot cocoa with whipped cream!  You can't have to much sugar on Christmas eve.  The girls even made a tray for Santa with notes on it of how good they have been.

Last of all we got all tucked in for a Christmas movie and reading of Jesus's birth from the bible.  Can't wait till morning!

Happy birthday to me

I turned 30 years old today. At church people kept asking me if I felt old.  I had to laugh, because no I do not feel old.  But yes, 30 is the first number that has started to sound old ;)  Birthdays that fall on Sunday are never the most action filled days since we keep the Sabbath day holy, but it certainly was an awesome birthday.  I felt very loved and received many calls and well wishes and that means a lot to me. My own family of course spoiled me too.  Kayla gave me a french pedicure and Callie made a birthday scavenger hunt for me.  Brad made me a birthday cake and bought me a Hot Stone massage for the day after Christmas, I am soooo excited :)!!!!!!!   They all also made me breakfast and did a a lot to treat me nice and help me out all day.  We finished off the night by watching "Arthur Christmas" and Papa and Grandma came over with their gift.

Callie helping me blow out the candles.  Kayla wanted it to say 30 really bad so she took one of our number "6" candles and ripped of the top so it was a "0".  Love that girl.

If you notice my cake is missing a big piece out of it.  I'm not pointing any fingers, but it may or may not have been the cake maker :)  That's okay, I didn't really expect him to bake an entire cake and not be able to eat a piece before the next morning, I know him better than that by now.
Thanks to everyone that made my day so special!

Ray family Christmas party

We had a family Christmas party with Debbie's side of the family this past weekend. We had some good eating, good singing, and lot's of crazy kids running all over the place. It's funny because I can remember back to the first few Christmas's when we first moved here and it was just our Kayla and Callie they were the only little ones, now there are many!
