Brynlee's Moanna Birthday Party

This might be one of our favorite parties we have done.  We loved Moanna when we first saw it.  We especially loved the music!

All the girls made Moanna necklaces to take home.

Brad made my awesome Tiki Bar for me and it only cost $8 total even with decorations!

Took a second for them to get the hang of limbo, but they figured it out!

Thanks to everyone that came, Brynlee had a great day!

Brynlees 6th birthday

I wanted to take some natural sun field pictures of Brynlee for her 6th birthday, because she is our little sunshine.  We sure love her.  She is strong, independent, kind, smart, she can also hold her own ground and isn't afraid of anybody.

Brad is loving his new shop.  It is kind of fun to have a place to do projects in.  I'm glad he was able to get one because he has always wanted his own space to do his stuff.  We sure love him, he has earned it for sure, he's such a hard worker for our family. I took some pictures of his mustang because he had it all cleaned up and looking good.

Valentines Day

We had our family's tradition of a Valentine breakfast that I have had since I was a little girl.  It was super yummy and I even made Brynlee's favorite Buiscuts and Gravy too.

It was a little to early for Kayla to want her picture taken, ha ha...

Of course the girls wanted hearts in their hair, since this is something else I have done since they were little.

This year I made their shirts from stuff I got from Hobby Lobby.  Man I love that store, I should buy stock or something :)

Daddy/ Daughter Dance

This year it was Hailey and Brynlee's turn to share daddy for the daddy daughter dance.  They were so excited to get to dress up and wear their fancy dresses.  This year I made them corsages and they loved them.

Daddy sure loves his girls!

Staying Busy

This month we have been staying plenty busy.  Trying to get all the business tax stuff put together is stressful, ugh! But I got it all done so yay for that! I have also been busy starting all the year planning for the Stake Primary.  We visit each of the units  and have also started speaking in the different areas with the High Councilman, so my counselors and I have been doing a lot of traveling! I love these ladies and wished we all lived a little closer so that we could hang out more.

We have had fun preparing for Valentines day, we love decorating the boxes for school !
This year we tried something different with our valentine cards for the class.  I told the girls about it to see if they might want to try it this year instead of the regular cartoon cards we buy and they were so excited.  They giggled and giggled as they were taping on all the suckers.
Brad surprised me this year and got me a dozen roses, they are beautiful!

Callie recently competed in her first Piano Festival.  She scored superior on both her pieces, she did excellent! We had a fun mom/daughter date eating at Larry's pizza.

So ever since we built our shop we have had some scrap wood lying around.  Brynlee's birthday is coming up and we are doing a Moanna birthday party.  So I asked Brad even he could use the scrap wood to build me a tiki bar.  He did, and it turned out so cute after I got it painted up.  Total project only cost $8.50!

I took the girls out for a special treat the other morning because they have been doing so well in school.  They have all been serving as student ambassadors at one point or another and their reports from parent teacher conference were so uplifting that it almost made me cry.  It makes me so happy knowing that the they are doing the things that we try to teach them at home, even when we are not around.
