Before my mom and sister left they helped talk me into getting Hailey's ears pierced. I have been wanting to because I got Kayla and Callie's done when they were young and it was a great time to do it (Callie never even cried). But for some reason I've been more chicken to do Hailey's. Maybe it's because she is so tender hearted? I don't know, but I finally did it and it was a success. She did cry a little after the first piercing, but she was done crying before she even got out of the chair. All she cared about was her sucker after I gave it to her ;) She loves her new earings and goes up to the mirror to look at them and says "Pretty".
Me pinning her hair out of the way, while the lady put marker on her ears to mark the spots.
Hailey was just enjoying her first sucker and didn't know what was coming next.
I think she started to suspect something when she saw the white gloves, since she just got shots a few weeks ago.
After a few tears she waits while I quickly open her ring pop:
And....... she's over it! Boy that must be a good sucker ;)
(The blue behind the earings is just from the marker smearing after the lady cleaned them)

Silver Dollar City: Part 2
Here are the rest of the pictures from our trip to Branson. The last day that we were there we spent at Silver Dollar City. Brad was able to come with us and we were happy because we were missing him. This first picture is a boat ride that we took through a mine where you shoot at targets. It was completely dark in there and I can't believe it didn't scare Hailey at all.

Some of the targets in the mine.
This is a new treehouse/ play area for the kids that was just built this year.
Hailey and daddy on the carousel.
Nana and Callie on the Carousel:
This was probably the girls favorite area, the "ball launcher". It is a HUGE ball playhouse where you can play in the balls and launch them with guns.
Karren and Nana outside the "Ball pit playhouse".
Me and Brad launching balls at the kids:
My moms favorite part of Silver dollar City was the real cave that they went exploring in. The tour is about an hour long. Here are some pics from inside the cave (some are a little blurry):
This is just outside one of the rides. I love Callie's face!
Getting ready to go on another ride:
Callie having fun on a horse, she is such a ham.
This ride was a race. You had to pull on a rope to make your seat go up this huge tower. Callie and I were racing against Brad and Kayla, I bet you can guess who won. As you can see, I had to put gloves on because the rope was killing my hands!
Karren, Callie and Kayla in the GIANT chair:
These next three are of the girls inside the "Crooked" house. I purposely didn't go in this one because I already knew it makes you feel motion sick. My mom and Karren didn't like it at all.
This picture is so funny because Kayla looks like she is about to throw up!
Callie and her Nana:
I'm so excited we bought season passes so hopefully we will get to go back later this year when it is a little warmer.

Our trip to Branson with mom and Karren: Part 1
This past week my mom and sister have been staying with us. I was so excited for them to come because my in laws invited us to go to Branson, Missouri to use their condo Tuesday through Friday. It worked out perfectly because both Kayla and Callie were on spring break. Brad couldn't come the whole week, but he came Thursday night and stayed Friday with us as well. The girls and I all headed up on Tuesday. We spent the first night just hanging out at the condo, since my mom and sister had just flown in that day and were kind of tired.

The next day we headed to Branson Landing, which is a big outdoor mall. It is our favorite place to shop in Branson. Callie had a lot of fun modeling with her Nana.
Here is Callie modeling in one of the windows.

There was a kids playground at the mall that the girls had fun playing on.
And because Callie was so good all day and didn't complain while we were shopping, Nana gave her a special treat and went on a 20 minute train ride with her! Callie loved it.

After we were all shopped out we headed back to the condo for some yummy treats.
Later that night, Nana and Karren took the girls to the pool to go swimming. I sat on the side with Brynlee and watched all the fun. We weren't sure if Hailey would like swimming since last summer she didn't, but to our surprise she loved it and we had to hold her back from jumping in!
The next day we woke up and headed to McFarlains for breakfast. It was so yummy. Outside the restaurant they have a lot of little shops where you can buy souvenirs and things. The girls loved playing on these wiggle scooters that they had there. Nana ended up ordering them some for Christmas.
Later that night Kayla and Nana went to a show at the New Shanghai Theatre. They loved it.
Such pretty eyes:

I love how serious Callie is in this picture. She is so cool with her new shades.
And last of all just me cuddling with Brynlee. It's been so nice to have the girls entertained so that I get more snuggle time with my baby while she is still little.

Brynlee's blessing
Yesterday was Brynlee's baby blessing, and it was so special because my mom and sister were able to be there with us. She was so good during the blessing, and Brad said that she was just stretching out her arms and looking up at him. It always makes him tear up when they are looking up at him so sweet while he is trying to give them a blessing. She wore the dress that my Grandma Partridge made for Callie when she was a baby.
(For my other girls baby blessings: Kayla wore my blessing dress from when I was a baby, and then Callie, Hailey and Brynlee wore this dress that my Grandma made.) She did such a good job, I love it!
