I just wanted to post a picture of my cute hunting buddies. Can you believe how big Kayla is getting? What I love about Kayla is that she can be as girly as a girl can come, but she's also not afraid to try something that is "just for boys" like hunting or sports. Everybody always tells me: " I bet you are hoping you have a boy next", but honestly I think Brad has just as much fun teaching his little girls how to hunt, fish, and other things. And I know they love spending time with there daddy. I think we will get along pretty well with either a boy or another girl!
Probably when I had to chase Callie because she booked it out of a store and was running through the mall as fast as she could. I was at a dead sprint and barely caught her ;)
2)Do your jeans have rips, tears, and holes in them?
Not any more. But I did actually used to buy some like that when I was younger. Who would have thought that people would ever buy brand new jeans that looked distressed with holes in them?
3) What are you dreading right now? I'm not really dreading anything, but I am feeling very impatient to get my ultrasound in two weeks.
4) Do you get the full 8 hours of sleep a night?
Usually, but I do like to stay up late. I don't go to bed until like 11:00 or 12:00 and I wake up at 7:00.
5) If anyone came to your house on your "lazy days" what would ya'll do?
I'd invite them in, and invite them to be lazy with me. Usually that involves laying around and munching on a snack while watching t.v.
6) Have you ever been on your school's track team?
Yup, I did high jump, long jump, and hurdles (for a short period of time). I was pretty good at the high jump though.
7) Have you ever kicked a vending machine?
I don't think that I have ever kicked one, but I have definitely shaken one or tried to tilt it.
8) Don't you hate it when the radio ruins good songs by playing them over and over?
YES!!! I do hate that. But what I hate even more is when they play songs that get stuck in your head easily, over and over.
9) Do you watch Trading Spaces?
Ha! I used to really love that show, now I don't. I'm not sure what brought about the change, but the show just isn't as good as it used to be.
10) How do you eat oreos?
I just eat them. ;)

Not waiting for someone, but I have stayed online for a very long time.

No, I wouldn't say so. I would say I'm confident.
13) Could you live without a computer? Yes... but I would rather have a computer than cable if I had to choose between them.

No, but mostly because I just don't like wearing shoes.

My husband. Callie tried to for a little while, but we got that under control thank goodness;)

Gosh, it seems like I've always known. Brothers aren't very sensitive to letting there sisters believe in those kinds of things for very long.
17) How many phones, house phones and cell phones are in your house? 2 cell phones, and one house phone.

Cry and get it over with. I don't really wollow in it very long. I'm not sad very often, but I do believe in just letting yourself have a good cry if you need one.

Well, since I don't play the lottery, I guess I won't ever have to worry about who to call first.

Last month when I flew home.

None, I'm not even wearing my wedding ringer, because my fingers decide to randomly swell when ever they want when I'm pregnant, and I don't like feeling like it's going to get stuck on there.

Not anyone right now. I don't really like confrontation and bad feelings. So I try to keep the drama to a minimum.

Going to the doctor for my 4 month check up.

I usually always try to, unless it is ridiculously far away, or if I have screaming/ crying kids then I just find the nearest spot that it won't roll or be in the way.

Yes, I can proudly say, that I think I could. I don't think I'll ever be testing that theory though ;)

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Karren would pack the most on the way up, and my mom would definately pack the most on the way back.

I have a very unique name, and ironically there was a girl that lived about three houses down from me that had my same name while growing up. I haven't heard anyone else have it since then though.

Got Brad's truck aligned this morning.
35) Do your siblings ever pay for stuff for you?
Yes, last time I flew home my little brother Don took me out to dinner. It was so nice :)

Maternity Gap. They are the only ones that I've found that carry long enough for me.
37) What irritates you most on the internet?
When people are rude and think they can say whatever they want just because they are not actually talking to someone in person. I think you should treat people the same online as you would if they were standing right there.

I know it's a little past Valentines Day, but I am just now getting around to posting about it. This Valentine's my sweetheart was gone to Wyoming, so we celebrated on Thursday night. Brad took me out to eat at a great chinese restaurant called Chi's in Little Rock. It was sooo good! Then we went shopping for clothes for his new promotion that he got at work. Did I mention that he got promoted? Well, he did, and I am so proud of him. He is now an Engineer AR for Falcon Jet.
We celebrated valentine's day for the girls on Friday. Since Kayla was getting all her stuff from school and having a party that day, we just decided to do it all on Friday. The girls loved their little treats. Kayla also got a balloon and snack from Grandpa and Grandma that they delivered to her school, and I brought her a rose from Brad and I when I picked her up. Brad was in Wyoming because he picked up the truck that my Dad and brother Mark fixed up for him. It turned out great and we all love it! Other than that, we have just been up to the same old stuff. I am getting excited because we get to find out what the baby will be in about 2 1/2 weeks. That is if the baby cooperates anyway. I sure hope it does, because I'm not very patient at all.
My brother Mark has been rebuilding and selling used cars while he is building their family home, and I I wanted to do a little advertising for his new page that he created. He does an awesome job at repairing these vehicles, I know because we have bought two of them from him! Okay, it's been another month since my last baby bump pic, so here's the new one. Sorry it's a little blurry. This is me at 14 weeks.
Saturday we decided to make some valentine cookies and cupcakes for the people that I visit teach now. The girls had a lot of fun doing it. Just a little side note though, if you want to use pink frosting to decorate, try using food coloring instead of buying the strawberry flavored frosting, it wasn't a very big hit at my house. Next time I'll know better.
Other than that we haven't been up to a whole lot. I babysat a little boy at the beginning of this week just to help out the family till they could get their work schedule adjusted. He is only 3 years old and around 65 pounds! That's about how much Kayla weighs. So needless to say, I had my hands a little full. But the girls loved it, especially Callie. I think this picture is so funny of the two of them. Keep in mind they are only 1 year apart.
I just wanted to take a moment to stop and write down some of the things that I have been feeling lately. I know that the economy has been on the forefront of everyones minds. As it has been on my own. How can it not be? Everywhere you turn you here of more depressing news. It's on every channel, it floods the browser homepages, it's in blogs, and in passing comments on the street. Every where I turn it seems like that is all that is talked about. Now, I'm not going to lie, it's scary, and it's even more scary to think of what may still come to be. But with all of the talk of debt, job loss, food prices, taxes, and worry over gas prices spiking again, it can begin to take somewhat of a depressing tole on a persons mind. I feel like it could be very easy to let myself focus to much on these things. I don't want to spend all my time wondering: "Will we lose our job too? What are we going to do now that hours have been cut? How am I supposed to make this food budget stretch when the prices keep raising? How are we supposed to stay out of debt when income is going down and prices are going up?" All of these things are valid thoughts that I'm sure a lot of people are feeling out there. But it occured to me this morning that maybe we are spending to much time focusing on the negative things and need to focus more on the possitive things. Maybe this is a way that our country is being humbled, so to speak. Maybe instead of everyone turning against God and wondering why this is happening, we really need to be turning to God for our strength to get us through it. Even with all of the changes that have come about, I can't help but stop and just feel so greatful for the many blessings that we do have. Sure, food might be harder to plan for now, but I am so so thankful that we have food to put on our table. The hours at work might be cut, but I just feel so blessed that we have a job during this time. There might not be as much to save each month as we used to, but I thank Heaven that we have the money for the things that we do need. Maybe I won't get all the little luxuries that I want. But do I really need any of that? Sometimes it seems hardest to be greatful during times when we feel the most stretched or the tightest on our budget, but really it is during those times that I see the greatest blessings come about. There have been countless times (especially when I was a single mom), that my checking account was completely empty and I knew that I wouldn't have enough to pay that last bill. But EVERY time that I would kneel in prayer and sincerely pray that things would work out, they always would. I have trusted that if I pay my tithing faithfully and trust in the Lord that He will look out for me, and He always has. Do I think that this would happen if I was careless with my money or lived unresponsibly? I don't think so, but I have faith that if we do all that we can do right now to be good and honest people and live carefully and faithfully that God will look out for each of us.
