Christmas time

Well I have almost all the Christmas shopping done. Feels good to be done early this year. I only have 1 more for brad and my in laws and then I am finished. That will be a good thing because if the next few weeks go anything like the past couple weeks, we will be busy!
The girls have loved waking up every morning to see what there elf has been up to during the night.  Here are just a couple of pictures that were fun.

The other night we did our Christmas baking for the neighbors. One of my favorite things about this time of year.  The girls were great helpers, they unwrapped all the hersheys kisses for me and helped put them on the tops of the cookies.

It was hard narrowing down what we wanted to make but we finally decided on oreo cheesecake truffles, peanut butter kiss cookies, no bakes, and chocolate covered pretzels.

We also went to a funeral on Saturday morning for an elderly sister of our church.  Brad officiated the funeral and he did a wonderful job.  My father in law dedicated the grave.  She has been a dear family friend of their family for many years, so it was hard to see her go, but we know she is in a better place.

After we got home from Little Rock, we headed to Brinkley for Brad's cousin Tara's wedding.  It was beautiful.  Her brother Nathan, played all the music for the wedding, he is so talented.  Tara looked beautiful!

The reception hall was gorgeous!

I loved the grooms cake.  Looks like something that would be right up Brad's alley.
